(no subject)

[ When everything falls apart around a person, a very interesting, reckless sort of desperation is born, and Mukuro's been privy to that particular sight for the past few months. Fear makes people stupid, they say, and Mukuro agrees. Fear makes people bold, too.

He moves silently through the trees, the large forest that surrounds Konoha and keeps it hidden - he answers a call tonight, two whole months after a missive from an old...acquaintance? Mukuro's never seen the point for friends, you see - but there are a few that he keeps in relative contact with throughout his years of bartering and dealing in all sorts of information. It's a way to laugh at the world he's long had no feelings for, a private joke for himself while the humans fell all over themselves trying to do "what's right", never forgetting that it really doesn't matter in the end.

He moves through Konoha, the mist shielding him from view - he does not wish to be seen, and besides, the only person left now who can see through the illusion without even making an effort is the only one he wishes to see. After all, there's nothing quite like Hatake Kakashi, right? The ineffable, eccentric, intriguing man that Mukuro has never quite managed to understand despite himself.

He heads to where he supposes Kakashi's apartment is, set far aside from most of the others, and starts to climb up to where his window is, wide open and just nice - settling on the ledge.

Doors are for insipid mortals. ]

Nice night, isn't it?
